About Gwen

Gwen Edelman is the author of three novels: WAR STORY (Riverhead 2001) THE TRAIN TO WARSAW (Grove 2014) and
TO FORGET BERLIN (coming soon).


War Story was translated into nine languages, won Le Prix du Premier Roman Etranger in France and was a Koret Jewish Book Award Finalist. The Train to Warsaw was translated into two languages and has been adapted as a play.


She lived in Paris for many years and now lives in New York.
